1st time trying this spot, alpt of option but i tried the pesto chicken sandwich And man itwas very good nice thick juicy chicken cutletson a sesame roll and it was delicious great service and nice quite and clean spot to eat Oh yeah ask for a side of chipotle may you will thank me later
This place is habitually my first and last stop every trip to Burbank. I look forward to it days in advance of my travel plans. The food and service are consistently amazing and the entire neighborhood seems to know. It's a very popular local spot that's been in business since the 70's. It's always inviting and clean inside and has a great place on the corner of Magnolia Blvd & Shelton St. Get a sandwich for there and one to go...! You'll wish you did later if you didn't...! Got the turkey club sub and some lays, one of the best sandwiches I've had and they were so quick had me in and out in less than 10minutes

My husband and I love grabbing sandwiches from Tony's. We walk here often for lunch, and some of our favorite menu items are the Tony's Special, the Turkey Club, the Pastrami Sub, and the Meatball Sub. All of the sandwiches come on freshly-made bread, which is so soft and chewy, and the homemade sauces (like the Italian dressing and the marinara sauce) are delicious. The owner and the workers are super kind and helpful, and the restaurant's interior is always clean and inviting.
This ain't your chain sammi shop and the taste of their sandwiches proves it. Limited menu. No fancy free range arugula or boutique small batch aioli. However, the meat is far better than the corporate cost sensitive options offered at your local dime a dozen shops. The bread is what does it for me. Crispy and flaky crust with a soft spongy center. What you would expect from an Italian deli. Service has always been efficient and spot on. Price is comparable to the chains. Size is comparable as well. It's the quality and tastiness that sets it apart. Also, it's local. Support your local places, especially if it's like this place!
Old school since 1979. This is one of those corner shop neighborhood gems that you can guarantee that you will get a big delicious sandwich. I went with the popular Tony's cold cut special sandwich and I received free chips showing the cashier a picture of their free offer from their website. The old style chairs and table gave it that yesteryear ambiance while enjoying my food.
This deli is awesome, glad I came across it. The place is very small on the inside, very few places to sit, but they have a few outside tables as well. The menu is vast and is good for any food pallet. They have several options for hot and cold sandwiches, they also have pasta plate, salads and vegetarian options. So much to choose from. I purchased the meatball sub. This sub was good, I only wish the bread was a little more crusty and that there was more sauce on the sandwich. The meatballs themselves were very tender and tasty. I still really enjoyed the sandwich. My husband got the Tony's special which is a typical Italian sub and he really enjoyed it, he said it was dressed nicely and the meats tasted very fresh. The staff is nice and friendly and welcoming upon arrival. I will be going back to try other options when I am in the area again.
A very good Italian deli, I got the Bella sub with a side of pasta salad and it was absolutely delicious. The only downside is there's only street parking and on Friday's and Monday's street parking is unavailable from 10 am to 12 pm. So I would advise you to get here on a different day or come in the afternoon.
